I think a slightly smaller playing area and a slightly sped-up timer could help out. As it is, the game seems a little too easy.

The character, art, tooltips, and music are fantastic and make a very fun atmosphere!

Overall, feels quite complete and impressive for being done from scratch in 48 hours!

I couldn't start the game because the 'start' button from your screenshot is rendered below my screen and is unclickable. I have an ultrawide monitor and the game defaults to full screen - maybe that causes it?

Amazing 'level complete' sequence! Very fun!

Neat idea with the progressively trickier threats appearing later! I think the spawn radius could use some tweaking, as I game-over'd almost immediately a couple times due to objects spawning too close, but great work!

Amazing ending. I will always remember you, pogo stick!

I liked how the jumps seemed to gain momentum and get larger and larger the more successful hops you had. Could do some fun stuff with that!

Got me hooked on this for way too long, trying to get a higher and higher percentage. 71% was my best, maybe a 'high score' listed somewhere close to the score could help you push for higher and higher? :P

Fun and cool mechanic! Easy to get into, tricky for the player to get right, and tons of possibilities for level design!

Fun, catchy, and to the point! Fits the theme very well! And also the best reason to eat cake.

Might be nice to have some sort of points in there to let the player know they're making progress (maybe a progress bar of how much of the level is completed?). Also, spawning too many fire sprites on the screen can quickly cause the engine to slow to a crawl.

Also it's absolutely hilarious that the fire hydrants can catch on fire!

Cute art and physics! Unfortunately I did best by not building anything at all, as there only appears to be one disaster which can harm Jim. Definitely lots of potential to play with! I'd be interested in seeing more attach and build mechanics, something to try to make a more stable shelter and see it get destroyed by the disasters!

Catchy music and very fun little game! Great way to mix up controls to progress difficulty!

I feel the lasers are a bit too sudden to appear even with the warning they're coming, and the swap modifier might work just by switching the letters that appear on the keyboard rather than the red wheel over affected keys.
