I quite enjoyed this game, although there were some things that could be improved. I agree that using the deodorant in the tutorial image as opposed to for instance the pen is a little odd, but I had no issues figuring out how to play. It would be nice if we knew what the range was on the towers though.
The game seems to reset when completing a level as well as opposed to returning to the room overview, which feels a little weird (It's the small things that count!). I liked the music and environment but would like a little added clarity.
Thanks for the response, based on this we may add a range indicator for the towers when placing them or when in build mode, this seems like a great idea. The view going back to the start screen is also an issue we are hoping to fix in future iterations of the game. We are glad that you enjoyed the game and will hope that in the future updates you can have an even more enjoyable experience.
Good game, nicely done, followed the theme well, but the fact that you have to click on the item you want to buy, then on the platforms was a small bit confusing as you didn't exactly word the tutorial intuitively. Even so once I figured this out the game was fairly easy.
To improve you should add a more intuitive tutorial, and a clear indicator for when you will finish (maybe make it even harder) :)
Thank you so much for the feedback, we will take this into account and change the wording for the tutorial in the next iteration. And we are hoping to increase the difficulty to make game more fun, would you like to see anything specific to increase it would love to hear back. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hey sorry about that, the deodorant towers are unlocked on level two and cost 200, you should be able to place them i just checked and they can be placed.
wait, if they are unlocked by level two, why do you feature them in level one when you're showing the instructions?
if there isn't any towers in level 1 and I have to use the other 2, then would it be better to show what the other two does in level 1 rather than what the deodorant towers done? because that's what confuses me
the tutorial screen is a demonstration of the fact that you place towers to kill the enemies and how to do it, it uses the placeholder image of a deodorant can to show that you can place a tower on a platform.
It states quite clearly in the tutorial how to place the turrets and what the enemy, is, then on the wall it says score needed, thats the score you need to win level 1, the turrets then very clearly on the buy menu say what effect they have, paper being a single shot at a time and the pen being an aoe.
but I can't use the turrets until level 2, that's information I don't need for level 1.
what I'm trying to say is that I recommend putting the tutorial with the turrets in level 2 and then for level 1, have a tutorial for how the paper and pen work. because I don't know how to use them
As i have stated In my previous responses The tutorial is to show the player that they can place towers and kill enemies with them. We do not state the player must use the deodorant tower for the levels. We felt that it was a simple enough game to give controls to the player and not hold their hand for each level, allowing them to experiment and test each tower as they play. This play style is not for everyone and i am sorry that this does not suit you, we will not be changing this. However based on another review we will be rewording the tutorial at some point.

I tried playing the game, and unfortunately, there was a problem, a major bug that makes this game unplayable.
I can't buy deodorant or place them anywhere on the platforms.
but based on what it is, it seems to be a tower wave defense game in a 3D environment.
good job on the game and I'm sure it taken you all hard work, but it's not very interesting for me to be interested towards it
good luck on the Game Jam

then that brings a question that can help me, and I hope that it would be a concern to your game.
how do I pass level 1?
because I am stuck and I don't know what the two things do.
