Really interesting game!

I loved the filter, and the overall theme really felt like an ARG!

Some of the puzzles felt a bit needlessly clunky but overall it was a very pleasant experience! Good luck!! :D

Thank you! We added the sound cue very late on, so unfortunately thats how it ended up in the final build. The lighting is built, but the guy who built the game built it as a developer build, which means a bunch of console stuff is on the left, unfortunately that's just how it's going to be :(

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are going through and polishing (Lock is #1 priority) along with a few bug fixes. An updated version will be here by the time the extended deadline ends. Thank you for your kind words! :))

Thank you for your feedback! In hindsight maybe some clues were needed to get the player to the end of the puzzles, but we were stuck in thinking how to keep it immersive and difficult whilst still playable and completable. We will think about updating it after the voting period has done for the jam :)

Not 100% sure of the objective, I'm sure it's very good, but I would really enjoy a tutorial... xD

I agree with Jay, it's quite straightforward and simply trial and error, given more time I believe this could be a great game. A few things to improve would be the animations, collision and being able to walk diagonally without a complete halt of movement. Good job!

Wow, that was a great game!

To improve I suggest adding music, and turning the volume down on the sfx, which were extremely obnoxious xD. Overall a very good game and great concept!

The movement was extremely obnoxious, and there doesn't seem to be an objective. Good concept though :)

Ah! I see, definite controls are needed :)

Great game, sound is unbearable however. Maybe to improve create some better models for the player and enemy, but otherwise very nice!

Good game, could do with some sounds, and maybe an end to the survive part :)

Unfortunately, you've added this and it does not work, you need the files that came with the folder when you built the game :)

Good game! Needs a bit of work with the voice acting and the art, but other than that its great. Well done!

Good game!

To improve I'd like to see some better collision, and the ability to hit further than the penguins can. Also maybe a way to kill the final boss :)

Great game! Small, but definitely offers some great potential for a future indie game.

To improve I suggest changing it so that the player can move with the keyboard, as the player can just spam click to find the next item. :)

Very good concept, I like the art style and the pokemon style fighting is great.

To improve, try making the fights a little more skillfull as it is turnbased, maybe healing or strength buffs using items etc. Overall a great game!

Hey, good game! A great start for you, to improve you should add enemies, and maybe a scene view so you can't see the whole map all at once. Overall a great start to a new dev!

Hey, the game was good, the sounds for death we're quite obnoxious, and the jumping over the bats was a small bit weird to overcome.

Some improvements would be make an end goal, or at least a point system to keep the player interested in beating their high score and keep playing. Make the controls a bit more responsive so jumping over bats isn't harder than sliding under them. And please oh please get rid of the death sound xD

(1 edit)

Great game, actual jumpscares. You've definitely outdone yourself! Well done!

Good game, nicely done, followed the theme well, but the fact that you have to click on the item you want to buy, then on the platforms was a small bit confusing as you didn't exactly word the tutorial intuitively. Even so once I figured this out the game was fairly easy.

To improve you should add a more intuitive tutorial, and a clear indicator for when you will finish (maybe make it even harder) :)

I'm not sure why, but I can't seem to jump higher than my own knees. Is it something I'm doing wrong, if so a controls and a main menu would be very nice to have :)

Instantly much easier to understand how to play! Thank you for the speedy update :)

From the start I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do, it was only when I had finished the first level I realised the acronym which made a lot of sense. The controls shouldn't be this way though, I believe you should change it to a default interact button such as enter as you are using the arrow keys.

Other than that the voice acting while good, the accents need a small bit of work and I think maybe you should have stuck to your original accent as this would have made the acting a small bit more convincing and immersive.

Overall, I think this is a good game and with some great map design and control improvements it could be a great game :)

Thank you for the feedback, we know we need to work on sound as we ran out of time towards the end, thank you for playing our game!
