The game and mechanics work fairly well but I would prefer one hand focus on attacks and combos and the other focus on movement. Either that or choose a less awkward button for attacks. I figured it out eventually but e and left shift felt awkward and uncomfortable to me.
This is a really fun game, the art style is simple but pleasing to look at. I really like the music and sound effects.
However, there is a problem. To beat the enemy you can just spam E and run towards the edge just to push him into the hole. I think that maybe adding a cool down to the punches might solve this problem.
You can do that, yes, though you will get basically no points per enemy. For you will only get points for combos, and none for just taking the enemy out. However, I will look into it, for I do believe the attacks can be mashed a little too much. Thanks for the feedback.
thanks for the feedback! i was looking into having multiple enemies at once, though often it would end up with the player being launched off the side immediately due to getting overwhelming by knockbacks, or all the enemies would be caught in the same combo all together, so it would barely feel like multiple. though, i'll definitely mess around and see what i can do to balance that and spice it up a little. good stuff.

I do find this game enjoyable, though it lacks variation.
it's to a point where it's more of a 'push the red outline guy into a hole game'
to make it more enjoyable, I recommend making the red guy harder or have more red guys to make it a challenge.
overall, I do like the game, just only in one gameplay, then I get bored that I decided to jump into the hole.
also I don't see the score being based on combos while pushing someone into the hole as a good high score value.
