Hey this was super cool!!  I beat level 1 in 2 tries :D

  • Innovation – Very unique idea that we don't control the units!
  • Fun – I really liked that I didn't have to control the units, I could just focus on production!  A defense unit or tower might be cool to add
  • Graphics – Very cool low poly sci-fi assets that work great!
  • Audio – The sound effects are a bit samey, maybe could use some random pitch change to make them less tedious or make them more subtle, unless the camera is right above them.  Could use some desert wind ambience too.
  • Polish – It feels really good!  I think the buildings need a better indicator when you've selected it.

Great job completing a full and fun game loop!  Please check out my game if you like Metroidvanias or platformers :D

Many thanks for the feedback!

You are not the first complaining about the sound. It works quite fine in the installed version on my desktop with headphones. But on other setups the levels seem to be wrong. Some have only very silent voiceover, others have no ambient sounds (like you). I will try to fix that for the next update.

I will also improve the selection visual.

When it comes to defensive structures/units I am a bit unsure. Currently 4 additional units are planned. When those are finished I will do the multiplayer balancing ... and maybe come back to this idea.

I played YesterSol about a year ago. Will have a look again... :)
