I like the level design, the tree branches are a nice touch and the game looks good. I agree with the other comments that the jumping is tricky, but overall good work!
I like the premise (building up memories of the person growing up) – it would have been cool if the character got bigger/changed from level to level as they piece back their memories. And acquire new powers to complete new levels. I think I struggled a lot with the controls (jumping) too – they were responsive at the wrong times and unresponsive at the right times, so that might need to be tweaked. But the level design/objects are really coming on; would be good to see how of the memories emerge and build a story 😊
Game looked good! I got a little frustraghted with the jumping as it felt a little sticky after you landed. I think I only got one memory (or should I say Juan Memory) There seemed to be one in the death pool on the beach level that I was not sure how to reach. The different environments gave some nice flavour to the game!
I liked this. It feels really well put together for a jam game, multiple levels, etc.
I like the idea of finding the memories - though as far as I can see only one made it into the game? (the horse). It didn't seem to communicate why (or even that) you could now double jump after finding it.
Would the intention have been to introduce more mechanics as you find more memories?
I found the jumping a little unsatisfying - I think you could play around with the weight of the jump a bit more to make it feel better - but that's something that happens over a lot of tweaking, not a 2 week jam.
Yes, only one memory so far. You think jump higher? Gravity at an OK level? I'd like us to get the jump a bit more responsive, we had a lot of trouble getting that to the point it's at now. Yes, I think more info on double jump is one of the next things we should add. Would a mention in the start scene be enough or maybe announce "double jump!" when you pick it up?

I've just fixed jump :)

yes, only one memory at the moment, we had trouble with the jump getting it to look good and work well. It's a lot better than it was!

Do finish it off as I'd like to try it again :)
