Nice use of lighting and visual effects, but is my character invisible? I also suggest making a tutorial level first like maybe the first scene only having like 1 or 2 enemies to ease the player into so they know what to expect.
The character invisible thing, is the Z axis on the character maybe out of the camera's view?

i'm sorry about the invisibile sprite, but it's actually an Html exporting bug. thanks for playing!  <3

I still don't know where my character is. Shoot out of nowhere. It turned out funny. The sounds are pleasant, but I would change the music in the background

i'm sorry for the bug but i can't do nothing about it :( for the music, you are right i am very bad as music composer. thanks for playing btw! <3

It quite hard for me, I died so many times :D but the effect of shooting and control is smooth, made me keep playing.

The gameplay is very fun, one of the most fun I played on this jam.

Thank-you for not wasting my time in the beginning! I was able to get right into the game and was immediately hooked in by those solid controls and shooting mechanics. Both my partner and I played through the entire game because we were actually having fun playing it. My only major gripe is that the backing track sounds horrible. Maybe it was just buggy or something, but I feel like any royalty-free space/ambience track would have been better. Also, the evolve theme didn't feel very strong to me.

Well done! After trying out around 10 games, this is my favourite game this jam.

Developer

thanks for playing the whole game! <3

Yes, it could be that the soundtrack sounds "jittery" in some cases, i think it's related to a problem of godot engine with Chrome (I suppose).

Great job!  Controls felt good, nice art style as well.
Think there is a bug with the player model not showing up but still fun.

thank you <3

and yes, for some reason the ufo sprite in the HTML version it's not visible, but i will try to fix it (? I hope i can fix during the jam, in other jams you were able to do that but they don't say anything in this one so...)
