The game is well-designed in all aspects, and the overall experience is very smooth; however, after defeating the BOSS, the game cannot progress.

Overall: 9.3/10

Very nice! Feels like a complete game!
I wish the mouse cursor was animated somehow, it was a bit tricky to find it to aim properly

I know... I kept thinking about implementing that the entire time, kept pushing it off, and then uh oh deadline is in 30 minutes and I need 20 minutes to make builds of the game. Definitely the first thing I'm going to add once I start working on it again lol.

Ok this is on another level. The game fits perfectly the jam, and it was super fun to play!

This is dope! I like how smooth the gameplay is, and the animation is really well done. I think having the enemies' bullets disappear after you defeat them would be nice because it can feel a bit unfair, especially when there are multiple enemies at once. But besides that, I'm still having a great time. If you made this in three days, I can’t imagine how much better it'd would be with more time. Hope you complete this one .

Thanks for playing, and yeah I definitely agree that the bullets should dissapear after either the enemy that shot those bullets is dead or the room is cleared (I'm lazy so I didn't implement it lol).

Very cool art, the gameplay is pretty polished too, and yes I too loved playing on my Bibendo BDS as a child as well. This might be another case where I'm just bad, but this game seems a little unfair at times with the narrow hallways, bullets that stick around long after you've cleared a room, and the very fast purple enemies that I feel have a little too much health even with upgrades. I might comeback later and try beating the game again.

wow, that's really good for... 3 days? upgrading, shooting, effects, sounds animations and even boss?? I feel like I wasted that 3 days compare to this

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, trust the backend code is atrocious lol. You didn't waste your three days, you made something really good and you should feel proud.
