Loved the movement, but honestly, the sound effect when hitting the bumpers and blasting off was the best part

For real! I'm glad you liked it!

I immediately liked many elements of the game - gaining speed down slopes to launch yourself up the next one, the dash, slip slopping around as the slime... but the bumpers, might just be skill issue, but I had no idea how to reliably make use of them. Maybe there's a particular way you had in mind for them to be used? Throwing them down randomly definitely wasn't it.

The bassy sonic-boom type sound that triggered based on your speed was a nice touch :) Good game!

Hi! basically you don't really need bumpers most of the time, but they can be used for a variety of things, like gaining speed, jumping higher or even preventing yourself from falling. I thought it was cool to design them so they could be used in different ways, like this, you can always find faster ways to progress and they can also help you get past certain parts of a level more easily depending on the context. What I usually do is throw a bumper onto the ground in the direction I want to go and then dash onto it, So… i guess you're already using them right X)

Appreciate your comment!

Fun! Love the speed you can get to with the slopes :D

It was a bit frustrating after getting past a difficult section to fall into a hole and have to restart the level, so maybe it would benefit from a simple checkpoint system? I feel like that would elevate the gameplay a bit and encourage the player to use the fast paced movement to it's fullest.

Good work!

You're right, I figured i could slice up the levels to make them shorter and less frustrating to restart, but sadly, it was already too late X(

However, you can use the bumpers to climb back up and get out of the hole.

Thanks for the feedback!
