That was so cute~! Love the characters, and the chemistry between Annet and Gwen made me squeal like crazy. It's super cozy and very fun. Love it. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

This was such a delightful game to play. Despite the occasional typo (which is not surprising given the limited amount of time available to put the game together) it looks cute and fun. I loved the story, the characters and how much personality each of them had!

Super! Love these characters and their designs! Also how can you take that video character who haunts my nightmares and make her that adorable? Well done!

I also loved the chemistry between Annet and Gwen.  And those eyes hiding in the bushes? Ooh, that was some nice foreshadowing!

Good luck in the jam and great job!

Thank you so much!

There was even earlier forshadowing actually.  But it was much more subtle.  :)

I played the game on stream and it was such a delight!
Really enjoyed it and was instantly interested in hearing about the other couples mentioned in the game!

I am really impressed that a game this long and detailed was made in only a month. The premise is really creative and the writing made me laugh. I really enjoyed this game and would love to see more stories set in this universe.

Thank you so much!

We actually have two other games set in this universe already, both made for previous Spooktobers and referenced in the game.

Deadline : https://screen-savor-studios.itch.io/deadline

Jill O' Lantern First Slice: https://screen-savor-studios.itch.io/deadline

Deadline is a murder mystery where a reporter accidentally summons a shapeshifting Murder Cat who need to help her solve the mystery and writer her article before dawn or they'll have to kill her.

Jill O'Lantern is a cross between Friday the 13th, Groundhog Day, and Ace Attorney with a thicc pumpkin demon, a nonbinary cheerleader, a girl just trying to keep everyone from dying, and more mysteries and twists than we could fit in just one game!

Both games are more mystery than romance focused, but they are also both free!  However, we are currently working on a 2.0 version of First Slice, as well as the second episode of Jill O' Lantern which will be released by the end of the month as a paid episode.

Thanks! I will definitely have to check those games out.

Very fun and cute! I loved the story and the art is great. One thing I did notice though was that Annet referred to IV as 'he/him' a couple times after they introduced themselves exclusively with they/them pronouns; might want to address that, but otherwise great job!

Thanks for the review!  We did catch that and a few other typos in which we have fixed in the latest release. :)
