Log Line
The near-death experience Eito had, opened up his third eye, enabling him to now see spirits. With the help of his 'classmate' and new friend, Sen, Eito gradually adapts to his new life while finding ways to put the spirits he encounters to peace in a town plagued with a dark past.

I really like the build up between Eito and Sen’s relationship, and it makes so much sense for their fast friendship and how quickly Eito took to Sen ’cause of his condition.

also regarding the QTE, I really didn't expect it the first time lmao had to scramble for my mouse when suddenly a QTE appeared and I died LOL I like that it's implied in the beginning Sen is a spirit by the fact that you can see the piano ghost's face if you failed the QTE just as he can see Sen's face ;D nice detailI’m definitely finding myself interested in what’s going on in the town, what happened between Eito and his parents, and what’s up with Sen. I look forward to the full game!

The demo is relatively short, but clearly a LOT of love and effort is put into it, and clearly we're just getting started with the real meat of the story. I can't wait to read more about the boys and be scared out of my wits - by monsters or by what humanity is capable of? Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But yeah, I actually had to chop down nearly half of the planned scope to make it in time, but no regrets there!
And yes, sometimes the living is scarier than the dead ooo~ 👻
Intriguing story! The premise was interesting, the boys looks great and seem to have greate chemistry, and the horror was effective. I was so scared by the first few jump scares that I had been on defensive mode for the rest of the playthrough though, was really taken off guard by the sudden game mechanic. Maybe your could make the timer a bit slower for the first encounter so player can adjust easier, as it took me like 5 times looking at the jump scare to get pass that scene, and by that time I stopped being scared by her haha. It's an effective way to jump scare people though, so it's totally up to you..
I like what I saw so far and hope to see more of the boys!

This was such a delight to play! The story is interesting, the art is top notch, and everything else was so polished and well done! The QTE mini game is also a nice addition (even though I am BAD at it). The fact that this is your first game AND that you're soloing this whole thing is just mind blowing to be honest!! I'm already so curious to know where this story is headed, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this project!

omg. the early reveal about sen got me! i didn't predict it, but it seems so obvious in hindsight. also, i want to know more about eito's backstory & his relationship with his parents... what's the deal with sen's mark? i want to know more!!! (i like natsume's earring, even though he's only a silhouette.)

I’m working on an extended demo with more polished sprites for all characters (including NPCs so you’ll be able to see Natsume in a non-silhouette form aha), more gameplay mechanics and CGs ( ・∇・) can’t wait to share more and explore the lore further
