The  offbeat rhythms paired with the sleek spareness of the melody made this song super catchy for me.

Thank you! I'm glad you think its catchy :))

This track sounds game-ready. Plop it in a gameboy or NES game and I think it would perfectly fit the background of a Halloween-type level. The loop is seamless and the variation of melody and chord progression makes it so that I could listen to it over and over while playing a game overtop. I like the use of xylophone alongside the electronic-sounding instrumentation which creates a unique sound that also makes a lot of sense since 8 bit sounds often are quick and choppy just like mallet instruments. The drum beat with the snare on the backbeat makes it sound a little slower than I imagine you set your bpm to, but overall I found this to be a very fun and well-made track. Great work and thank you for sharing!

Thank you for the response and your thoughts! I'm glad you enjoyed the piece, and I agree that the percussion is a bit slow. Thanks again! :)

This song was very good and... bitty? Anyways, it was a good song, better than mine and think that this song is very special in its topic and theme. I loved the parts at 0:20 and 0:43. Those were epic parts of this song that you have created. Very good song overall and the name fits it perfectly!

Thanks a bunch :)

Nice! From the start, I knew I would like this song: it had a form of melody and chord-progression which signals to me you know what you're doing - even if just a little. The addition of the new instrument at 0:21 was nice, loved that. Plenty of variation, and every part stood on its own yet felt part of a whole. The ending was a bit sudden but then I knew why - you can loop it!
So far this is one of my favorites. It might lack a bit of POWER, but you've got something seriously nice going on her, good job!

Developer

Thank you for your comment! I definitely agree that it lacks POWER. Sometimes it kind of hurts to make vgm that doesn't overpower the gameplay hahaha!

But you know what - even though it might lack some POWER, it is a sick song though! I accidentally left it on repeat for apparently ~20 loops, and I forgot it was even on! That specifies to me that the song does not have any 'weird gimmicks' that sound weird and distract me - it is a song that stays good even when hearing it 20 times! It might not need the power at all, it is good as is. I love it <3

I loved it!

Thank you :)
