What I really liked about this was the creative weaving of instrumentation and styles. After a smooth, silky beginning, a creepy cackle signaled the plunge into a caldron of flavors from a rank bass to the brittle fumes of the xylophone. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble… very tasty!
Woohoo, that was definitely a surprising track, but it worked perfectly! It started off chill and simple, but speeded up to a beautiful transition! I wouldn't classify this song as spooky, but who needs spooks when you can have a great-sounding, original and chill dance-off with some skeletons! And that all within a decent time (I don't like those "5-minute tracks"), love it! Definitely one of my favs!! Even if you're not the winner, you can count yourself as one cause you made a banger ;)
Oh, and congrats on receiving Rank #1 in the 'Originality' category! You deserve it.
Very good song! I think this song will get a pretty good score overall! Only one thing I would change would be to change the melody a little because it's a little bit distracting but, I don't know, I'm not a good music producer. My favorite part was when it started, before it speeds up and when it does the...umm "quat hat" thingy. Overall very good song!
This is a very creative track and definitely earns a high rating in the originality category from me! The dissonance between some of the instrumentation choices/genres feel spooky just with the sound juxtaposition. Then adding clustered notes on the low xylophone just add the spooky factor. It sounds like the main xylophone is recorded which is really pleasing alongside the virtual instruments. The accelerando at the intro was intriguing, and I like the body of the song, but the tempo definitely feels like it’s in the 120s range rather than >200. I was certainly grooving though. Great work and thank you for sharing!
Or maybe, 240bpm ;)
Super cool track! I love all the incorporated elements and instruments.
I combined Jazz, Synthwav, real instruments, and hyper pop into one song. My brain cells are all dead.
nice
Just like mine
