Fun story based game with absolutely polised sound designed! I love it!

Great job!

Really interested in this story! All the characters were very fun and their designs equally enjoyable to look at. I'm especially curious about the twins and their relationship, since one seems to be supportive of the other (the vote badges) while the other hates him lol.

Wow! Just finished it. Creeepy atmosphere and great writing man. You set up a fantastic atmosphere and it really paid off with the theme too at the end....I wonder what happened in there !! :P

Hats off, great work all round

Super intriguing game, i loved the atmosphere and all the neiboorhood sounds. The dialogue is very well written and has an impact on the player.

Cool game with good writing that builds up dread. I understood what two of the neighbors were references to (plus the player character & friend) but didn't recognize the rest... looking it up I guess those are just subtler allusions.

A really cool artstyle, and an incredible atmosphere. Loved the tension of ringing the doorbells and waiting for the different footstep sounds, and the reveal at the end made it fun to replay the game and discover how all the little details were set up, too!

Thanks for the feedback!

I literally just finished playing your game. What a coincidence!

I thought this was going to be boring, but thankfully I was wrong. The atmosphere is great and the dialogue too. The best of all this are the characters and the reactions of the main characters.

- SPOILERS -

This is a really minor complaint, but I wanted to point out that the dialogue options that specify an action aren't in parentheses or something similar. For example, for the option 'Silence.' I thought he would say "Silence. ..." because of the tension of the scene. If it was '(Silence)' it would be clearer that it was the action of being silent.

Thank you for your comments!

And I completely agree with you about the action options. I originally wrote them like this: [Silence], but the brackets were removed in-game and I didn't have the time to fix it, but I definitely will once the jam is over!

Nice story based game. Good job.

I have got no feedbacks to tell.  Infact i am impressed that you made this kinda game within a week. BTW the game is awesome.

Developer

Thank you so much!

I am very fascinated with the door bell. You should also do visuals for the steps or at least more of those " see what you're hearing" things. The dog was a nice jumpscare! I think I found a bug though. After I got through all the houses I saw a screen with only one house and I couldn't do anything.

Developer(+1)

I didn't do the visuals myself so I tried to use the least amount of possible, but I might add some for the other sounds in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!

You're right about the bug at the very end, unfortunately.

Great art in this game! You've built up a really good spooky feeling with the sound as well. I went to all the houses but couldn't proceed after that. Not sure if it's a bug or I took a wrong turn somewhere in the story.

Developer

The game's supposed to end after that. I'll check it out!

Maybe I did finish it then? After I went to the house in the most bottom right all I could see was a single house I couldn't click on. Assumed that wasn't the end because of no end screen or anything that felt like it concluded the story.

Developer

Yeah, you're supposed to be able to click on the house.
