I finally got to play through it all, it was a lot of fun! When I first saw the game's name I thought the story would be something entirely different but when Angus walked in I was like: ohhh so that's why!

Some spoilers:

But I didn't expect Dave to be the one who dies, I felt sad for him even if he was a meanie because all the characters managed to get my attention with their unique personalities! Also, I love the voice acting, they did a great job!

One question I have is if Angus' sprite changing sizes during the scenes was intentional? I don't know if it's a bug or not but it was kinda funny

Very lovely art and good music choice- though often on the web version I found the music was louder than the voice acting, often it covered up  Salems voice.  Also, the writing was great, finding the dead bigfoot sent a chill down my spine.

SPIDERWEB PIZZA! No joke, I make those every Halloween.

Great setup here in the demo. The character art is cute and super polished, and the voice acting feels very professionally done. The part with the stolen pharmaceuticals is an intriguing hook. I definitely feel like there's lots more to find out. One thing I didn't go for was I felt like the backgrounds didn't match the character art.

This was really enjoyable and well-put together. The characters are adorable and the story is good so far. The character expressions and story-set up pulled me right in and got me invested. The music and voice acting are also very well done. Besides a few UI issues the only truly jarring part of the experience for me were the backgrounds -  in my opinion they do not match the sprite style and gave me a strong feeling of visual dissonance. Perhaps a stronger artistic filter and/or paintover on the backgrounds could alleviate this issue. Overall I thought this demo was a great achievement considering the time constraints of the jam. Well done!! I'm looking forward to the full version.

A fun demo! I particularly liked the music and the cast's costumes.

I can't way to play the full version of this, it's such an intriguing mystery! I did find that sometimes music was too loud and drowned out voice acting, but I was able to change this in the settings!

Thanks so much!! :) Sound will be adjusted in the full version!

Cute little demo!

I really like the premise of this game. I was a bit sad when it ended abruptly.. The voice acted parts are top-notch and If the full version offered full VA I would play it just for that alone.

The sprites look amazing and very professional. I first thought the backgrounds were photos for how realistic they looked but apparently they are 3d rendered?

Considering it is a demo, there are minor polish issues of course. The menu UI:

Black on black is a bit hard to see. Also a custom game icon would be nice.

Also the music was a bit too loud compared to the voices. I was able to change fix this in the settings myself so no big deal but you might want to adjust that.

Still, really amazing job! Looking forward to the full game! I will definitely play it!

Thanks so much for the feedback!! :) There will be more voice acting in the full version (though not every line fully voiced), and the UI+icon and sound issues will definitely be fixed!
