You can improve the movement. Also i think character shouldn't be a box
Thank you for the constructive criticism, I really didn't want to use pre-made/purchased assets and unfortunately ran out of time. Only so much you can do in 48 hours :)
I liked the music and art. It creates a nice atmosphere. The game is fun, but I miss the main character sprites!

A dark themed platformer with satisfying lighting and sarcastic writing. Would love to see more, aside from the chunky controls was really a laugh and a facepalm towards the end haha.

I love the writing and the lighting, but the game is a little slow and it is annoying sitting in a pit for a while or sitting through dialogue again after dying. Still, I love the atmosphere and writing!
Thanks djmick254! Yup, in hindsight I could have made the first level pit a little faster or skiped it if you had seen it before. Glad you enjoyed the non-spike pit parts of the game :D
Its a good game, I had much fun playing it.
But at the first spikes I felt down and was trapped in there. Idk why these didnt work but after like 15 seconds I was back at the start
100% hear you, it was suppose to be a little bit of a joke that you would do once and not try it again. Should have added a check to skip all the dialogue if you had seen it before.
I like lofi games with light improvements like this one. Both cute and spooky enough. Awesome job!

I had fun playing this! Gotta say I enjoyed the writing and the insanity mechanic has a lot of potential.
I can relate to the skeleton metaphor, albeit on-the-(missing)-nose 😂
Mr skeletons humor is about as dry as his bones at this point :)
The look of it and the great atmosphere and ambience peaked my interest, but I must admit I did not finish it. After losing a few times I felt that the slow pace was getting the best of me. That being said, it is a matter of taste if quick or slow pace if what preferred.
Like I said, great atmosphere and mood, simplistic yet nice graphics that work very well with the cool lighting mechanic. Sound effects also pretty nice :)

Thank you for the kind comment and feedback on the design, If I had a bit more time I would have focused a bit more on the pace and UI. Got to the point I had to start sticking everything together before the deadline and my sanity dropped to 0 :D
