I like this concept a lot! The game was a bit short on content and lacked audio, but the idea was really good. I also like the resource management aspect of it, it really makes me mindful of where and how I go and use my light. Nice Work!

Cool little game. Although controls were a bit funky seemed like sometimes forces where applied to my ship out of the blue still a great little game. Keep up the good work. : )

As ghpxi said, it took me a little while to understand what to do, but I treally feel like it suits the mysterious theme well so it didn't really bother me! I really liked the navigation system which reminded me of Barotrauma or Sunless Sea. That's a really great little take for a 2 days game jam, you could flesh it out to make something really good ! :)

Thanks for the feedback!

The concept is intriguing, so I'd be interested in playing this type of game.

It's a bit challenging to grasp what to do initially. I made multiple attempts before realizing that I need to interact with the station to acquire a quest. The controls can be a bit finicky at times; the submarine occasionally rotates on its own, making it difficult to control. Adding sound effects would greatly enhance the overall gaming experience.

The quests that involve collecting items don't seem very meaningful. I get the feeling that I should be able to upgrade the station and the submarine, which would add more depth to the gameplay.

Developer

Thanks for the note, the quests do upgrade your submarine and base but it's not noticeable. definitely something I will look into. As for the sound effects I simply ran out of time  ๐Ÿ˜‚

It really fit the theme, you could probably make a full game with this idea. Adding audio sound and music would have increase imersion. Nice !

Tried to run it, but it had an error "

Application folder:

C:/Users/%User%/Downloads/into depths

There should be 'Into the depths_Data'

folder next to the executable

"

All the download files are supposed to be in one folder, oops.

Also forgot to mention controls :

Space : to move forward

left click: toggle light

e : to open base when near
