In beginning it was difficult then I saw a down arrow!
Very cool game! I really liked the music. The controls were weird at first because I wanted to dodge attacks by moving away, but also wanted to shoot at them at the same time. That problem kinda disappeared when you got more friends though.
Everything gets easier when you have friends to support you :)

It's pretty fun and the message is very good! Maybe adding some way to gain health, since some of our team found frustrating the fact of getting hitted once and have no way but just evading everything.
Also, we found the fact of moving to the mouth position in x/y axis but also shooting in that direction made harder the mechanic of aiming/defending from the 'bullets' from multiple directions.

You can actually regain health if you (or your friends) touch a heart that was shot by someone else. But overall the balancing was pretty tough, since it's supposed to start out difficult and get easier with more friends while not getting boring.
I see! Then it was the fact that we were playing in solo that we had that feeling. As a suggestion, maybe include a way to regain it if you're playing solo.
Oh, we are talking past each other. The game is singleplayer. The enemies become your "friends" once you hit them with enough hearts. :)

This was amazing! It took me a few tries to realise it and the hints were helpful. But once I got into it it really felt distinctive. I would love to see this developed into a longer game with a story, slightly more interesting combat mechanics. It's my favourite I've played this jam

You would not want to expand on the existing code. Under the time pressure I cobbled everything together in what can only be described as "the opposite of best practices" ;)
But I also like much of what's here. Maybe some day I'll revisit this concept.
