Love the concept and the art! Super creative and I think it was a great idea. Everything is so cute (except the laughing, its gonna give me nightmares :p). I wish the music was original just for that extra splash of creative touch, but other than that, great entry!
Yesss! Great game!
Those hares are SCARY. 😭 I wasn't able to save all the eggs but I did my best and got through the levels. 😢
Love the graphics. There's something about the flat-shaded low-poly style that really works for these tortoises and they're adorable, especially with all the names!! 💜💜 Colours are really lovely.
Drum beat works really well for the tension before all hell breaks lose and fits the lumbering animals.
Bit tricky to control, but props for the speed settings when having to control such slow-moving creatures. 💪
Thank you for playing!!
Great Entry! Love it!
The game was very cute but it feels waaaay too slow and the way the hares move makes it feel like the arrangement of turtles doesn't really have that much impact.
Yup the hares are too obnoxious. I only got around to adding the hares and the levels in the final 3 hours! Such is the life of a game jam game! Did you see that you can change the speed of the game with the 1-5 number keys?
great visuals, cute song. Love the turtles but boy are those hares scary!
Thanks for playing! Yeah those hares are quite obnoxious.
Really awesome visuals and vibe. Great entry! Love your tortoise models and the little touches like how they all have unique funny names. The gameplay left me wanting a little more, or perhaps I didn't grasp it fully: whatever I did, the hares were still crushing my eggs. I assume I'm just supposed to kind of build walls and hope they don't jump over? Also it felt I was waiting a long time for the hares even with speeding up the time. But overall, really nice work.
Thanks for playing! Yeah I didn't get time to tune the hares' physics - they are a bit too obnoxious right now. It's 50% luck. The tortoises have random sizes too. The first level gives you 180 seconds before the hares for extra time to get used to the controls. The other levels only give 120 seconds.
