This is the basis of something great, just a bit over-scoped for a jam. I loved your intro screen that allowed me to get used to the controls and introduce the units before I started the game. I am shamelessly copying that for my entries going forward. It was brilliant.

Developer

Yeah, we had big ambitions with this one. Thank you for playing and you can shamelessly copy this idea! xD

I can tell a lot of love went into this game. Very well done. I don't play this kind of game, so some mouse-over tooltips would have helped me understand what's going on. The character controller felt great and the retro tune rocked.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words and of course playing our game!

Very cool idea, the creativity is awesome, the making and use of the buildings and drones was inspiring. It's a shame to not have more of it complete and the game crashed at one point. I wasn't sure how to get the drones to actually harvest and the text tips were kind of in the way. Overall though this was quite a lot of fun and reminds me why I like this type of game.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game and your Feedback!

Yeah, the drones don't work proparly yet, but we are working on it! We are glad that you still had fun playing!

Can you discribe at what point the game crashed? What did you do right before it happend?

I couldn't get out of the test area :(

Firstly thank you for playing!

Can you discribe the problem? Did the "New Game" button not work?

Submitted(+1)

I didn't see a new game button! I'll try again today and update you

Okay, I see now. I had a resolution issue and the top of the game was cut off! Got it working

Ah perfect. Glad to here! :D

I found it very interesting and promising. Despite some small bugs, the game is solid and you can build a lot of things. Congrats!

Developer

Thank you for your positive Feedback. We are glad you liked our little game!

It is a good slice of what could become a really good game.

You thought a lot about how to build a proper system. Its a bit sad that you couldn't finish it in time.

Developer(+1)

Hey, thank you for playing our game. Yeah, it is kinda sad, that we didn't make it in time but we had a lot of fun making this game and will continue developing it!

The idea is pretty cool, however I was hit by some breaking bugs :( where I was not able to select machines or flowers, and drones would just get stuck and not collect resources :(

I do hope you continue to develop this game, as I would love to be able to make that rare candy flower.

I do believe this sticks to the theme with Robots and Plants being Unlikely allies.

Developer

Hey, Awesome to here, that you like our idea! Thank you for playing and your Feedback. We are aware about these game breaking bugs and will fix them as soon as possible!

This is Tiny Machine Garden.

Unfortunally we couldn't finish the game in time. Most of it is done but the last 10% are still missing so it is playable.

So we decided to give a lot of resources, so you can just try out the bulilding system and have fun with the different building types.

Since the theme was Unliky Allies. The idea was to make a game where plants and machines have to work together. The end goal of the game would be to grow a rare candy flower and evlove into a plant machine being, which is the next step in evolution in this game. We will keep developing this game after the game jam so stay tuned for updates.
