The sprites in the game are visually pleasing in addition to this the sound effects kept me intrigued and focused on a game it is a truly well made game especially in the time frame given to complete it
agreat game i love the animations through the death animation seems a bit too long the art style and hook mechanics area a great addition though the hook/swinging mechanics momentum is not concirved so you do just stop dead after you cancel the swing other than this great job
Awesome game, well made sprites, that go well with the art and sound. Having the swinging and the different power ups certainly served to make this a unique game. I like that he expresses anger whenever you destroy an enemy. I had no real issues.
However there were two non-game breaking issues, one was that when you go through certain pipes you can see the player before he can teleport. Another would be that after the second? level upon the completion screen it seems to cut off the text. I suppose I also didn't really know what level I was on after so many attempts, which might also be a good addition.
Really good game though, well done.
Really well made game, a lot of time has clearly gone in to this. No real complaints and very solid submission with nice art, game play and game mechanics with well synced menus!
A great submission, visually cute artstyle and intuitive use of powerups and abilities to create different types of puzzles. Controls and movement were tight and even made sense for the character being on wheels. Level design allowed smooth introduction of abilities without being intrusive or hand-holding. A unique game through and through.
The blue powerup, speed, was extremely weird and I think the execution of the power could have been better. When I picked up the item I would travel at an extremely fast pace and had no control over which direction apart from when I positioned myself properly. The level design on the 4th level was occasionally frustrating, especially when using the warp pipe which made you teleport directly in the turrets line of fire. Swinging also felt incredibly quick, but worked for the most part.
Overall, this game is very impressive. Expansion and some work into the design and execution of a couple of levels and you have something that I think could be put on a marketplace. Well done!
Talk about beating the competition here! This is the most polished game I've played so far, and I don't expect to see any better games in my reviewing session. The art style is polished, coherent, and fits thematically. The basics of a Mariolike platformer is in there and to a high standard, which many games could only dream of matching within a week's time. On top of that, there is the additional swinging mechanic which is also executed flawlessly. Do a bit more polish on this maybe, come up with a more interesting and unique mechanic that flows well with this game and this is easily market standard. A job well done, and congrats to the whole team!
Impressive, a very addictive game in many ways, love how you had different levels for the player to go back to and to try and beat their previous times which I love challenges to go back and beat records so this made it stand out, love the designs and sound effects that were included and mechanics as such especially with the rope, love that you can find a sweet? I think it was or something that enabled you to make higher jumps then the robots expression changed after killing another robot, loved the game overall, hard to think of something to be added for next time so maybe so background music but not too loud so that you can still hear the other sound effects, overall great game!
Oh lord this is an amazingly fun game to play! The grapple is so smooth and that little robot is so freaking cute especially when it gets angry aha. Not only that but the sound effects were pretty great and I found myself slamming the ground because that mechanic was so fun. Amazing game!!!!! Congratsss!!!!!! :D
