Art is great and after a little bit of polishing this stands to be a very good game :)
You can skip the key for every door and use the spear to clip under the ground and skip it, i give it an any%/10
Very scuffed, but very fun! It took me a bit to figure out how the spear worked, but once I figured it out I had a blast!
I had a good time exploring out of bounds as well; letting us click inside of walls may have given us a bit too much power. I may have gained infinite height and phased threw walls, but I had a blast doing it, and I tried to keep the exploits to a minimum but well it's called the scuffed spear for a reason.
The Art is really good, I like the dark theme of the dungeon. The music is decent but the loud witch scream repeats forever which needs to go. The gameplay is not it for this game though. You weren't kidding when you said the spear is scuffed. Would've REALLY needed an explanation to this thing. Also the hitboxes sometimes stay where you place them and trying to traverse the level becomes an invisible labyrinth. I ended up just glitching out of bounds and run along the top to win. The game would be amazing IF the spear becomes unscuffed.
Its not an "invisible labyrinth" its the fact the spear shares the same ground hit detection as you. XD. Could've fixed the spear but thought it made the game more interesting.
As the title says, very scuffed. But I like it! The spear mechanic was a pain in my ass but still worked really well and the level is a good length too. You can here the clown guy globally and it was really annoying but that made killing them very satisfying.
Before you review just know this game is beatable and do not fear the scuff control it!
