So the theme is either "Nothing",  or "I slept in" apparently haha.

I hope the theme isn’t something like “Will be announced at Start Time.”

it might be the case that the hosts put the wrong hour, since it said PST time 8:00 today, but the current PST time is 6:09

So if the timer has started, can I start? Or would that be unfair? Also no theme and game design document will make it a rough start. I answered my own question I will wait for theme so I can make a proper game design doc. It does say 8 am PST, less then a hour now. It would be unfair.

Starting a challenge without knowing the goal it’s pointless, unless you can add the theme later, but yes, if you want to do it, you can still prepare yourself some material, but remember this 2 hours won’t give you a super advantage, since we all start without a theme until we wait for the actual theme, so, we can altogether do the hunting for the resources and when the theme is up, we make it happen

Hey everyone, it seems like we tried to change the start time much earlier in the setup process and although the description updated, the actual start time didn't get saved. As a result, we can extend the submission deadline if anyone here had their work time effected by this, just send a reply in this thread if that's something you guys would like. Additionally, we've just finished up the beginner documentation (sorry, this needed some last minute review too) which will be linked in an upcoming post. Again, sorry for all the delays, this is only our second year running this event and logistics have been difficult with the beginning of the holidays for many of our team members.
