Hey, I'm working currently but rest assured that I can look into getting your game submitted shortly. Thank you!

Hi everyone,
Part of the goal of this game jam is to get more people with computer science / robotics programming experience into game development (although, anyone can participate). To that end, we've just finished some documentation which acts as a resource-hub for those making the aforementioned transition . You can find it here:
https://github.com/team2485/Game-Jam-Resources/wiki
Let us know if there's anything we can do to help with your projects, we'd like everyone to be happy with their end product eventually. Additionally, we may extend the submission deadline if demand is there for it as we were a couple hours late on getting the theme out the door. See the other thread for more details.
Hey everyone, it seems like we tried to change the start time much earlier in the setup process and although the description updated, the actual start time didn't get saved. As a result, we can extend the submission deadline if anyone here had their work time effected by this, just send a reply in this thread if that's something you guys would like. Additionally, we've just finished up the beginner documentation (sorry, this needed some last minute review too) which will be linked in an upcoming post. Again, sorry for all the delays, this is only our second year running this event and logistics have been difficult with the beginning of the holidays for many of our team members.
I had another team member play your game, here's what he had to say:
We like how being hit doesn't necessarily kill you and how the soul energy is also a health mechanic. It's a great interpretation of the theme! However, we think the jump should function more horizontally, as most of the platform is horizontal. You jump really high, but you don't really need to go that high typically.
Hey there!
I had another teammate play your game--- here's what he had to say:
Firstly, we love the visual style and the movement feels clean. The mouse sensitivity should be tuned, though. We also think parts of the map should be more tuned for the movement speed--- we found the platforming to be a bit clunky at the high speeds. The combat feels clean and punchy. If we had to sum it up: design the world for your movement, don't try tuning movement to the environment.
Hi Dominik!
I recently had another team member try out the jam games and here's what they had to say:
We like the documentation--- your devlog and cleanliness is very clean and professional.
Typically, when you re-orient the gun in the view-model, this is only a graphical change--- we see that the bullet actually flies left of the crosshair in ReBOT UNIT. Try separating the graphical view-model from the way you're handling the bullets.
At this point I'd recommend instead uploading it as a zip file for PC/Mac/Whatever and figuring out an HTML5 upload after that. The official Godot documentation has a bit on exporting for PC. Here's the documentation I was browsing.
If anyone has questions, please DM me here or on Discord (@pengaloo)
Again I'm super sorry about this, really unprofessional on my end-- but to try and make up for lost time I've given a one day extension. If anyone has any later submissions, I can add them manually to the pool, just get them in by the end of the voting period.
