The aesthetics and sound design is topnotch. The game surely is scary (Maybe I'm too weak for that) but my FPS flick can suppress the fear.

This was one of the COOLEST games at the game jam. It has a really nice, surreal, dreamlike, dark mood. The art direction is solid and the sound design is excellent. I really liked the lighter mechanic. How you have to strike it several times to light it. It FEELS GOOD. That's my favorite kind of mechanic in games, something that has strategic value that also just simply feels good to do. Game feel is so important! You mentioned this is your first game as a game designer and you've only been using Unity for what, 2 weeks? That's crazy! You're off to a great start! You have a real talent for game design, please keep it up!
It really means a lot to hear this. TYSM!
An impressive game with unique mechanics that I was surprised. Really well done by the creator to create an immersive atmosphere and sounds to fit the horror genre and PS1 aesthetic. What a game!
Thxxx!

I really like the atmosphere in the game; it creates a great sense of pressure and tension. However, in the cave, I feel like there could be more storytelling. It was a bit confusing when I teleported into the cave with zombies and suddenly escaped by killing them. But the storytelling sequence is good, with a gradual build-up. The gameplay is very thrilling.
🙏
The PS1-style trees with the flickering frames were a really creepy touch, but the tunnel sequence felt a bit rushed. I was hoping for more of a build-up before the climax. Overall, the experience was unsettling, but I think the tunnel could have been improved with more atmospheric elements. Love your work, Love your style!
Really appreciate the critique! I'm new to Unity, so I was slow making systems during the jam. Certainly agree with you, I had more ambitious ideas when the jam started haha. Hope I'll be able to make more 'complete' experiences next time.
