Really nice concept and design. I would say make this into a web game and polish the mechanics a bit more and it's perfect.
The spawn rates seemed a bit high and the screen shake when there are too many friends is a little much.
Other than that, best game in the jam (in my opinion) :)
Also the UI didn't show a timer and I couldn't see my friend shooter meter after the first round.
A cool and nice game to play, I like the art-style and the choice of music used for the game.
There should been a prompt for buttons to pickup boxes too.
Thought the friendly grinches would help me transport the boxes instead when I was starting out, took me a short while to figure out carrying the boxes to the tree myself.
That's actually a really cool idea for the friendly grinches! - would be cute seeing all the different types of grinches fighting over all the presents
(the button prompts would have been useful as well ahah - we actually had an updated rules page explaining that picked up presents but I completely forgot to put it in so that was an oversight on my part D:)
