Cool idea, though maybe a hint system of some sort would be nice for the less observant among us. I got stuck and basically photographed the final anomaly by accident (it was the portrait that flips itself). When an object is only a few pixels wide, a change like that is very subtle and easy to miss. Also, the camera sometimes gets stuck with the [?] on it, preventing you from taking photos when you normally should.
Plenty of potential in this build alone but there's one big flaw: it's too dark. Literally. On Day 1, the floor is so dark-colored that the only way I was able to see the humanoid monster coming was by going into the bathroom room and wait for it to attack since it's easier to see it against the bathroom's floor tiles.
Thanks! Feedback noted, I will make sure to add options to adjust the light level and remake the coloring.
This game made me feel very dumb, as I couldn't find the 4th anomaly of day one after spending a lot of time.
So, judging with only what I saw, I liked it.
The concept is simple and works well.
The game is a bit too dark for my taste, but that gives a good use to the camera as a makeshift light, especially when wiggling the mouse around.
I would love to see a more complete version, maybe with a variety of interactions or puzzles to summon the entities ?
Thanks for the feedback! I already have some anomalies/interactive objects planned and I will definitely add the summoning puzzles idea. There will be an accessibility option so you can choose the light level.
Really simple but eficient, I think this game has a lot of potential to be expanded into a standalone game.
Thank you!
