A simple but interesting concept. I know it is hard to implement even basic stuff sometimes, like the text input. This is a programmer's game. Not many graphics, but rather an experimental take on text based games. I see that you played a lot with this concept and that you got better the more you play with.

Developer

Oh yeah, this game is partially the result of lots of time developing a number of text based games. I wanted to see how far I could push text based interactivity, albeit without changing the original game too much.

This is such a charming idea! I enjoy the vibe of piecing together a story from remnants of things once past, kind of like from an anthropologist perspective.

I hadn't even considered this from the perspective of an anthropologist! That's a cool way to think about it! Thank you for the kind words.

Great to see this revisited. It's my favourite of your games, and I think every change made it better. More stuff like this please!
