  • clxrffdman's feedback: Gameplay: In terms of gameplay, it's mostly walking and interacting with people/objects, which is fine because the focus of the game isn't really on gameplay, it's the story that's being told. Reason it's 4/5 was that I couldn't figure out the controls for a bit, I know they're on the actual game page but some in-game UI indicator on some of the document controls would have been nice. Art: Overall, I liked the artstyle, some people might say the pixel art is simple but I personally liked the style combined with the parallax effect that was applied to most of the assets. Some weird bugs with the shadow caster but overall the lighting effects were also on point and added to the experience. I also loved the narration text that would fade in while exploring the scenes, they really make a difference. 5/5. Music/Sound Effects: The background tracks were all excellent, but the ending track combined with the amazing narration is what really sold this game for me. 5/5. Overall: Great work! Excellent story to tell and the execution was about as good as it gets. 5/5

Beautiful little game, really enjoyed the experience : the soundtrack, the art... This feels more like a little movie than a game, but I find that the story was well adapted to this format. Lots of potential in this team!

I wrote the game and my background is in film so that movie comment makes sense 😅

Thank you from the whole team for the kind words!

This was just a fantastic emotional exprience. I watched it all the way to the end. Really a masterpiece. I really like the light work and slow piano music. Very calming but disturbing. Unbeliveable it was made in such a short time frame. One thing to improve- this game is heavely relaying on text and theres a lot of reading and very little gameplay.

Thank you so much!

Ohhh I play a little the genere of graphic adventures (because I like more interaction), in this case I should congrats the piece of art you made, I love the end, because I dont wait for it, the last family draw was great!!! do you publish it in any web? Instagram? DeviantArt?

Ok now I will to make opinion about bad things: because the game is strongly based on dialog texts, ok it has the name of the character that talk, but I think is more intuitive if plus of it, the bubble change something, color, position, line that points to head of character, etc; it will make more confortable because is not a book; optionaly the face of characters can be in left or right (is classic).
