Absolutely too hard for me, but really well put together. I would have liked some sound when you hit the tripod, or a healthbar? It felt like my bullets were completely ineffectual, but I see someone managed to take one down. It'd be great to know whether I had done better/worse than last time.

Hahaha could anybody beat that guy? Nice random names on the story page:) Fun game, I wish I could survive longer. It's a little too ruthless for me :) Good art style.

Fun but chaotic... just how I like it! :)

So chaotic! ;P Really funny and challenging game, but really hard too. It's difficult to kill this machine, hundreds of bullets and... nothing :D Good graphics and not bad sounds ;]

Damn, and final moments of me they really were :D Also, final moments of my eardrums, since I had all volumes up to the max & headphones on. Loved the graphics and chaotic action, however little of them I had luck to see. Instant restart would've been very nice, since because of my skills and some very unfair respawns, I spent most of the time looking at intro/death screens. But I liked it :)

Thanks nathaniel, i really appreciate your comments. Yea vlambeer are awesome and jwaaps talk on 'game feel' was an inspiration. As is silicon valley, cant wait for the season finale next week. But again thanks so much for your kind words

Your game is the first I've put in my "Public Domain Jam Favorites" collection. Good work.

OK, lots of thoughts on this one.

  • Good use of screenshake. The controls are very kinesthetically polished. Were you inspired by Vlambeer at all?
  • Fantastic art style. Animations were great, especially on the tripods. I love how small the player is, relatively, and the presence of so many human survivors who all get picked off so easily.
  • Great tagline, really.
  • You did such a great job conveying hectic, stressful emotions and total hopelessness. After sticking with it for maybe 15 minutes, I was able to kill 2 tripods (in separate games :P). I love how the new tripods can arrive while you're still dealing with the first one.
  • Gilfoyle. Do you watch Silicon Valley? :)

This game is impossible. D: Took a while to figure out what I was and what to do... I included it in part 4 of my Public Domain Jam compilation video series :) http://youtu.be/XyekZqqe3lQ
