Not a bad project for a beginner and the art style is pleasing to the eye, keep it up!

Developer

Thank you so much! I am very glad that you liked my art style and project! ヽ(*⌒▽⌒*)ノ

Great concept, would be fun as a form of aim trainer.  Love the artstyle and that the game becomes fairly hard towards the end made me complete it fully :)

Developer

Thank you so much for those words! I'm very happy that you made it to the end. Because I was really worried that not everyone would make it to the last level. My friends almost all gave up. I'm really glad you made it!  ☆*:.。.o(≧▽≦)o.。.:*☆

small tip for a gamejam, make everything available as fast as you can. I liked the animals where you had to hold instead of clicking but they came a bit far into the levels. If youd ever join a bigger game jam a lot of people try to play as many games as possible and wont always complete it. Show off what you made :)

Oh that's an interesting point.  I'll keep that in mind for the future, thanks! (。´ ‿`♡)

Those animal noises were great! Level 2 tricked me when the bug sped up, but yeah, was not expecting the difficulty there at a few places. Art and sound design helped fit the theme well (and I mean that entirely as a compliment). Fantastic job!

Developer

OH, THANK YOU SO MUCH! The animal sounds were the weirdest part of working on the game, because I don't have much experience in voice acting. It's really nice that you liked them and everything else! I had thoughts that the acceleration in the second level might be inappropriate. Thanks for reporting it, I'll try to avoid that next time. Thanks again for your feedback, it's very important!  ⸜(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)⸝

Regarding the acceleration, my suggestion would be to include some speed up, but maybe not as fast as you did. Do a more gradual ramp up as the player goes along. It wasn't that it was bad; it was unexpected. I really liked how it made the game harder, but being more subtle about it would help.

Developer

I agree with you. During the playtest I thought this acceleration was very abrupt, but the people I asked to play didn't say anything about this spot. So I figured it was fine and I was imagining it. I sped up there also because I was trying to get into the rhythm of the song.  I'll take your advice next time! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
