Ranked from 9 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How did you choose to implement the Theme of the game jam in your game?
I made it so that the enemy avoid/hates the light as if it could burn them. Which made the light essential to the player

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes, I tried to implement the light in the darkness one.

I liked this game a lot!

It took me a few tries but I managed to get all 5! The main mechanic is very good, but as people have pointed out it wasn't very obvious what to do with the ropes at first. Great experience overall!

Felt very fair. Creatures where imposing but knowing that they headed back to the vents allowed me to strategize around the mechanic which I liked.

A indication of remaining time when collecting ropes would of been nice.

Cool entry I enjoyed.

Nice, simple concept. The pathfinding of the enemies was well done and the visuals are simple, but work well for the game. It could really benefit from some simple background music. The monster roar sound is good.

One thing I want to point out as a problem are the ropes. It's not obvious that you need to stand in one place to collect them and with the need to constantly move, I spent 5 minutes trying to pick them up only for nothing to happen. I thought it was bugged but then I discovered that you need to stand in place and then press interact. This could be made more intuitive or explained beforehand.

It's alright, it was great for your second game, a good amount of polish and I didn't really encounter any bugs, so you've certainly done a good job! Thanks for participating in this game jam! Hope you decide to participate in another one of these sometime in the future!
