Which Theme did you choose?

Technological Menace

How did you implement your chosen Theme into your game?
The two primary goals of the game are, 1, fix your broken robot that will kill you if you don't collect all of the items you need to fix it. And 2, avoid also being killed by a mysterious second robot lurking around your house!

Did you implement any of the Bonus Challenges and if so, which ones?
1-Can't let you do that -> It's described in the opening cutscene how the protagonist's "house bot" tried to attack them, something it shouldn't be able to do based on its programming. It's not an explicit scene though, it's simply described, but hopefully that counts towards this Bonus Challenge.

2-Robot -> There are TWO robots in that appear in the game!

3-Repairs needed -> In order to get 2 of the 4 endings, you must collect some items to repair your robot.

On the itch app, I am getting the error "Cannot read property build of undefined."

Developer

I'm sorry you've run into this issue, I've looked into it and it appears the problem is on my end because I didn't use butler to upload the game. I've tried using butler in the past but ran into trouble and haven't used it since, so this is a good reminder for me to re-visit the issue so I can use it for future game uploads and avoid having app users run into this problem!

Are you able to download this game from the itch site? (As opposed to using the app) If not, try this Google Drive link that should allow you to download the zip file:

Apologies again, hopefully using the site or Drive link will allow you to download the game! Let me know how it goes.

Sorry, I only use the itch app for downloads because the sandbox functionality allows for PC protection: https://itch.io/docs/itch/using/sandbox.html

No need to apologize, that's completely understandable!

In that case, if you're still interested in playing Chippy, I'll respond to your comment again once I figure out butler and use it to push the build for this game; I should have that done by the end of the year. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Yes, please keep me updated. I'll play the game down the road.

This is a cute game!  It was fun trying out the different endings.  The music goes really well with the story.  Overall, a simple but fun storyline and game!

Cute little game! I triggered the True ending by accident though but then went back and did some others xD  Good fun :)

This game although simple in graphics is also very compelling, stylistically it really works. Its well written and the background music really matches the graphics.

Solid entry.

Indeed, I'm still a beginner at pixel art so I tried to embrace the simplicity throughout making this game. Thanks so much for your comment! :)
