How did you choose to implement the Theme: Dreadful Nightmare in your game?
Not only does the main character experience nightmares, but he is also living one.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
False Hope - When the character decides it's time to get out of there, they find that their tires were slashed (implemented) and their phone was stolen (not yet implemented).

The Dream is Changing - Rooms change throughout the house with each passing day, objects throughout the house change in mysterious ways.

Descent into Horror - The normal housesitting experience quickly devolves into horror when the character discovers they may not be alone, and their life may be in danger.

It kind of reminds me of Maniac Mansion, but in first person, which is cool because I was just thinking about that as a "what if?" the other day! I like the colors as they are now, it makes me think of it as a horror game on Gameboy, which is cool. I like the graphics a lot overall, beyond the colors even.

I've never heard of Maniac Mansion, I'll have to watch some gameplay of it. Glad you enjoyed the game. We still haven't decided on switching the graphics to full color yet (we decided on gameboy colors to save time lol), so your thoughts on the gameboy aesthetic are helpful!

after the third day I did not understand what to do, I went around the whole house and found nothing, and there was nothing in the attic. Well, I would love to play a full-fledged game, good luck!

Thanks for letting me know! I didn't even think about letting the player know the game's sorta just "over" at that point. I'll add it to the game's description for now, and when I have a little time, make an update that adds a little note so people aren't wandering around confused ^^"

Edit: I added it in! Thanks again for letting me know c:

Um so... I suppose this game is not finished yet? I tried playing it and got confused haha and all I could do was sleep and watch as the environment became creepy XD

On the third day the environments were telling me to go to the attic but when I went there nothing happened. I would like to ask, if this is how it is in the current state or if there are things I can do :'D

Yeah, I ran out of time to implement some core mechanics. I'm unsure if I'm allowed to make major updates like that (so far all the updates post-submission date were bug fixes), but if so I'll definitely try to add more if I have time. I decided to submit it anyways since it's at least "playable" and better than submitting nothing, and gives sort of a small preview of the game. So yes, sadly right now all you can do is explore and sleep.

Hello, you are allowed to update you game and continue working on it even before the rating period ends, no matter how significant the updates end up being.

Thank you for letting me know ^^ Unfortunately I probably won't anymore since my laptop fan died, but at least I did all the bug fixes!
