As someone from a small town in Alaska who finally managed to escape, this hits very close to home.

ROFLMAO I'm so glad you managed to escape, and so sad (and also happy!) you can relate

One of the things I like is how it could be used as something cathartic (hey, mourning a place is REAL), or something more lighthearted (a group of transplants reminiscing is a very common thing in my experiance). Great job!

OMG thank you so much!!! Yeah, I 100% started off just trying to be a snarky jerk but as I made it I couldn't do it, I had to inject some of the love of a small town in the middle of nowhere lol. The way you said that was absolutely PERFECT, and I couldn't be happier to read it

This game has just enough snark to be hilarious without crossing that line into being brutal XD Whether you've been there or not, the wording gives enough of a feel that it's easy to imagine what it's like!

Hurray!!!!! Thank you soooooo much for saying so, I love that it's enough to make you feel like you're here without having to visit :P And also, that it didn't come across as too brutal, whew lol
