printed project deadline?

Hi, if our submission is approved, will we have time before the crowfunding campaing to improve it? Could we have a deadline please?

I released an "alpha version" to meet the jam deadline due to health issues, therefore I hope we have time to clean our game once jam will be over? (anyway I'll do it but I would know if that's ok to submit an alpha version).

Thanks!

Good question! Games will be selected based on their current condition, which means everything should be ready to go to print when submitted. The idea is that Long Tail has no expectation or requirement for chosen contributors to do any additional work whatsoever.

However, once the games are selected, there are two windows in which the files can be updated: January (before the prototype is printed) and March (before the final product is printed). This is entirely up to the contributor if they would like to make final modifications.

So basically people are very welcome to make 'alpha' submissions to the jam, with the intention to update the game before production. However, the selection process cannot take these planned updates into account, and will be made based entirely on the games as they currently stand. I hope that helps!

Ok! Thanks for your quick answer :)

Therefore I'll make an update in 2d10 days. Main thing I need to correct is grammar (I need to proofread the text, even if it's short I'm pretty sure there are a few errors since I'm not at all a native English speaker) so this alpha version is almost a "final" one. Other things are details about content.

Good question, and I appreciate the answer. I just noticed a small typo in mine as well. Glad to hear we'll get a chance to fix that stuff!
