This was so much fun, it has some undertale feels for a rogue pong stick, having a sense of wanting to be powerful could make a good story to be told, anyways, I think music could make this a lot better, even so, I had fun with this one.
Pong with spell card rules slapped on. Fascinating. Really makes one wonder what the limits are of that. Would Mahjong be improved if you would need to throw your yaku at your enemies until there’s only one person that wants to keep playing with you? Would shopping become way more fun if you would need to shoot your coins into the cash register while dodging the cashier’s tomatoes? (For additional flare, one could use a money gun.) Oh, and what if football would allow for players to use projectiles to shoot around the ball? (wait that’s just touhou soccer nevermind can i just have one more sequel of that game instead please)
Maybe the world is not ready for all of that. I am, though. Bring it on. Let the spell card rules become the solution to all of society’s problems.
overall game’s a (bang)er/10
I really liked how clever some of the mechanical remixes are. The HP being tied to point scores was great and kept some of the pong alive. It's also really funny how this probably has the most accurate version of standard pong of all the pong games.
Very funny while still have good controls. This feels great to play!
wish it had music or atleast some sound effects but other than that a solid game.
