Since I'm a veteran in rpg maker like games I can say this was quite fair if you know how to fight.

I'm not a big fan of walking a lot after losing, so a checkpoint near the boss would be nice, there's nothing more to see besides the bosses, it would be nice to place "things" to mildly interact with so the story can justify all the walking, but I also appreciate it's not that long.

wow i have no clue whats going on here lol

the style its going for is pretty cool though

Nice atmosphere and aesthetics.

The writing huh...
I seriously can't tell where the story is trying to go... And the first game Mystery of Youkai Mountain doesn't quite help.
We don't learn anything on why Yuuka's stuck in the Youkai Mountain of all places, nor why she's fighting the Tengu.
We hardly get any evolution in Yuuka's reason for being in this dream, and Yuuka's "insecurities" (it's Doremy mentioning them) don't get resolved even by a bit...
And the way Yuuka gets back into her home is just to beat up the baku, instead of whatever may be causing Yuuka to be dreamstuck in the first place? Do we know if Yuuka wanted to learn something or not? - I would have liked to know what consequences her fight with Doremy would have had.
The ending with the new character doesn't bring anything relevant to the story neither... Not even a clue nor a serious lore hook...

Really nice game, good visuals and amazing sound design and music, the story is good too, although this is a sequel to some other game, so i was a little confused, the fights were a little too easy, other than Doremy, she did NOT only intimidate and strengthen, so its probably down to RNG
Its being held back by the lack of theme, dont know how this theme is implemented into the game, cant really tell, but a really good game overall

I liked the art and sound design of this game although the story left me really confused. I suppose it is a sequel to another game that I haven't played which might have made it make more sense.

The combat is a bit repetitive though. It's hard to make a 1 party member rpg interesting but you could've used Yuuka's ability to make copies of herself in LLS to have multiple party members. Also, I think doremy's ai was a bit bugged because she just kept using intimidate and strengthen while rarely attacking at all.
