This feels like something I needed this week, thank u. It's very cute and actually kind of majestic how the broom rotates up and down smoothly when you move, making the simple animation look real nice and relaxing. It reminded me of the bonus level in the SNES Aladdin game and I liked the idea of doing that in Danmaku a lot. I don't know if it has any real challenging applications but it'd be funny to see some kind of global leaderboard haha. I got 384 on my one attempt. Nice game, nice time~

Damn I wanted so much more music. It was getting exciting.

Gameplay and concept was getting interesting.

Visuals and Audio were up there

Story was silly, as well as the challenge.

Not enough use of the theme, and if you blink you would miss it.

Overall an experience that only teases the player of good time.

Developer

You're right about the use of the theme. I planned for the intro and outro to be much more detailed and incorporate the theme well, but time constraints led to the cutscenes being last minute silly doodles that barely related to the theme. If I had the foresight to know I wouldn't have time for cutscene art, I might have designed a game with the pride theme more integral to the gameplay itself.

Yeah time management is a tricky thing.

Your game was made me engaged very quickly, the hunger for more is real!

Audio is definitely the game's highlight and it was pretty silly experience overall! The game controlled quite well and having the player's sprite tilt when you moved is a good detail

Funnily enough, my jam team was arguing about whether or not characters could get tired from flying everywhere and I guess your story cements it in the fanon lore!

Developer

Ahhhh thank you so much for everything you had to say! I'm glad you liked the audio, I had a lot of fun making the music.

And of course, I must figure it'd take SOME amount of effort to fly. Though you should consider the advantages of no-energy flight: You can take flying naps.
