Pretty good start, and waiting for the full experience.

There are some things that could be better. First, why does the combo prompt jump between being above the enemy and above the player, this is more annoying than it is challenging. Second, is there a reason why you would even use the Knife set (with the pre-set skill chain) over the Grimoire set? Grimoire set is way more powerful than the Knife set due to having access to stronger spells AND an automatic damage buff.

If we could see the Skill Chain having good uses from the start, I think it'd be a big hook. What I'm currently hooked by is the story. I want to see how it continues and ends, so I'm hoping I see a full version one day.

Quite enjoyable, the combo part could be used for another party members even if they're not kedama users, just saying, the system is good, it could be used for more characters to improve their performance.

Story was enjoyable as it lasted, simple, but it works, also, I love this artist's SMT-like characters, pretty good to be a demo.

As for other characters , I was thinking to use another way to improve their performance after publish the game ... well,  to be honest,  I haven't find a better way –> want to make a combo system for it which is a little different than the system the main character is using.

(... maybe will spend many time to finished it _(: 」∠)_

This is a lovely idea.  I've always thought someone could make a good RPG story out of just taking an original character and having them be an adventurer in Gensokyo.  Either a human villager or an Outsider who accidentally wandered through the border, or someone gapped in for fun by the Purple Lady.

(And I is writing a fiction about it ... though not in english(。í _ ì。))

Speaking of this kind of game, I would like to recommend a game which I played it on freem! some days ago, is 東方悠久闇Ace .ヾ(^▽^*)))

( I learned the skill combo system through 東方白夜航 years ago, which is another game made by the same author.   ੭ ᐕ)੭*⁾⁾

i can't say i really understand all the gameplay mechanics but i can tell they do exist and are cool, props for setting up a story and original character in the jam period

When I was thinking about the story, the story I thought of at the beginning was like this: collecting kedamas and taking care of them, and occasionally some other genso maidens would come to visit. 

When comes to making the game , I found that there was no genso maidens suitable for the main character , so I chose to use an original character.

The grammar is admittedly very rough on this, and a lot of the art seems taken from other sources...   but I like the elemental combo system mechanic, it reminds me of the Mario RPG games.

The art are from 幻想幽玄庵,マゼラン and スペキュラム合金 , which are widely used in donjin games of touhou . So they can be seen in many other games.

The combo system is base on Moghunter's plugin , and I spend most of the time to improve it. I make it allow players to link the skill as they wish , or, link all the skills in a random way.

So, it's very happy to see you like it . (^▽^) 

(as for the translation, I'm sorry that I have a poor English (╥_╥). and  I haven't enough time or money to polish it , so I can only try my best to translate it –>maybe come out as a primary school writing.

Very short, just one battle, and fairly standard RPG Maker fare, but definite kudos for the combo system even if I did not use it at all

I recognise every single asset used in this game, and I hope they're actually available for use in this manner. Seeing that bonus boss reminded me of Cirno's Perfect Summer Vacation
