Really cool concept, but I think I played the bugged version? I played it like four times and didn't find a single incorrect passport, at which point it just came down to 'how fast can I stamp yes'

That is possible in both builds actually! The chance for an incorrect passport is 1 in 5, so getting a run where all the passports are correct is possible, and probably fairly likely. All an incorrect passport does is it swaps a detail with another one that exists so that it's incorrect.

Huh... I haven't played Papers, Please yet but now I want to. Was kind of hard to tell what information was supposed to be considered incorrect (most seemed fine but with one or two spelling errors or slightly off job titles?) but this was pretty unique concept overall.

EDIT: i put the comment on the wrong game! sorrya bout that

actual review: its papers. i have never played papers but this seems pretty papers

almost all of the passports seemed to be 100% true, though. the only possible incorrect passport i saw was the one claiming to be sanae's as a human. does arahitogami count as human? who knows

It wasn't immediately obvious where I was supposed to get the stamps, but once I figured out the UI, I enjoyed the fun of denying those filthy lying dream souls from getting on my train. Nice work! I'd be interested to see this one fully-fledged out, because I enjoy these types of games. Kudos!

Well, I didn't expect a Papers Please clone for the jam! It was a small and solid game that I believe could have had more potential - for example, you could have added additional details to the passport to add more challenge and gameplay. Also, I believe there's a bug in the time display at the end, it feels like it's just counting the number of correct answers instead of the actual time you spent playing the game.

Overall, good work. Unique idea and good execution!
