this game was the most epic little time, thank u
I am a fan of Doremy with absolutely ridiculous hats, so a game where you can drag that hat to ridiculous levels was fun.
Controls felt a little bit wacky, and the difficulty didn't really kick in until Marisa's level, but the gameplay was fun nonetheless. Artwork is also very lovely, the 3D graphics were outstanding in particular. Good job to the team!
i like this one a lot
the visuals of all of the zones are really nice, especially big fan of wakasagihime's
doremy is hard to control but it makes you pay attention while moving and considering thats all you gotta do in this game it is good
the illustrations are absolutely crazy, no idea how you got so many high quality ones in only four days
marisa's stage was the only one that felt like a real puzzle but it was a very good one
and in the end: it is a good entry thats tellin me godot 3d is actually pretty neat
I'm the one who drew the little cirno in the screenshot, thank you so much for your comment!!! yeah we worked REALLY hard on the illustrations, trust me on that lolll ^ ^
A very chill game with a dreamlike quality (befitting of Doremy). I'm not big on puzzle games. But I find this very enjoyable. Would love to see it further realized in an expanded version!
SOL!!!!! HI DUDE!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING OUR GAME <333 WE ARE WORKING ON V2 RIGHT NOW!!!!
v v cute and calming game, adorable motive, she floats and bounces around, slings to and fro, no drama. I like the hat and bubbles. The water level is very "wow" especially the 3D barrels and jet streamy bubbles that make it feel like there's some weight to the controls and dynamic environment. My favorite tho is the star level, it's just plain magical and makes me feel young again. You can tell lots of heart and vibey teamwork went into this project. Charming af. 10/10.
this game... satisfies an itch i never knew i had... an itch to destroy... to create mischief... to play tricks...
i thought i could be entertained by mere child's toys before i played this game... but now i know... indie games are not only the future... but the pinacle of the medium...
in this game you play as the titular doremy and bounce around the house like a foamy flintstone's phone... pretty inovative content and i'd love to see more of this... much better than some of the modern works i can think of and name...
but doremy has some tricky obstacles to face... this is not a game that can be sleptwalked through by nintentoddlers, but rather a challenge of finger motions and intellectual prowess that challenge the brain as opposed to who has the fatest fingers...
sometimes... i look at the screen... i see doremy... and i wish i was a bit faster and she too would inheriet my speed... for the slingshotting mechanic is far less useful in this gameplay that demands precision in every action.... and i wish the gameplay didnt feel as incidental as it is.... i hit the barrels, i hit the ice, and i feel... i am i truly winning? what will make the game end in my favour...? these are but slivers of imperfection in the otherwise priceless apartheid mined emerald that is this game... you won't find any thing else like it, that's for sure!
looking forward to the next project these persons of interest work on... if they can muster up something else, that is...
Thank you for deigning to play our game Death_knel..! I hope that we can satisfy you in the full version!
There is nothing more innately satisfying to the games player than the feeling of bringing mayhem and mischief to a calm and ordered environment. It's a great idea to bring this feeling to the forefront of the game's design. Sliding icy blocks around and routing lasers will be familiar to anyone who has played Miyamoto's Pokemon series, but these tasks are given a new life, as it's not just about plodding around pushing stones until Miyamoto-san thinks you've had enough. The constant feedback as to how exactly your actions are affecting the dreamer makes it feel like every box you push and every lever you turn matter. The art is a delight to behold, and every new piece you get to see is a treat onto itself, only enhanced by the very direct feeling of cause and effect supplied by the gameplay.
There are a few technical snafus, as is to be expected. The water level specifically had me constantly worrying if I was accidentally gonna bump one too many objects out of bounds, and although it didn't really get in the way too much, the fact that the ice blocks didn't collide with each other did cause some undue confusion for me. I also wish that it was possible to see the little intro/tutorial text more than once, as after I accidentally clicked off it prematurely, there was no way to get it back. Not even by restarting the program. As a final nitpick, I must say that I wish the movement was a little faster and more responsive. I should be feeling free as a bird, floating through the dreamscapes, rather than literally dragging doremyself along.
Also, the fact that there were very few sound effects and no music was disappointing, but alas, "them's the breaks".
In summation, the talent here is palpable, and I have no doubt that the full version teased in the credits (if they choose to make it) will be a gem. The concept alone carries a lot of potential and with a team like this, you just can't go wrong.
HI!! I'm the in-game artist, Kassandra. Thank you for leaving a comment and for playing our game! On behalf of everyone, thank you so much!! 💖💖💖
I'm really happy you enjoyed our hard work over the last four days! It was our first time making a game together, and it was sort of just a band of friends spontaneously deciding to make something, so I'm proud we even have something to present at all HAHA
Thank you for the constructive feedback too! We'll definitely fix that in the final build. Due to the tight time constraint, we couldn't put music in, and there wasn't much time for debugging either.
We do plan on making a longer version, we already have plenty of ideas! Everyone's really excited, especially given the response to our game. ^^
Thank you for your support. Please look forward to it!
