Good enough for a first game! It's cute and the stage's appearence looks well researched. Love this style!
Just the idea of exploring and navigating the Underworld's mazy and uneven terrain is pretty inspiring.
I'll say it again, the style is cute, and I can see lots of care's brought to the stage's presentation! Love it!
Welcome to the Jam.
Note: Whenever Tenshi jumps, it feels floaty, committal, and slow almost to a fault, due to not having control over the jump height and having low gravity. It's fine in this game here since there's no sense of urgency, but that is something to have in mind if you'll be making other platformers.
Thanks for playing, honestly I chosen the underworld due to a currently scrapped part of the story. I do agree on jumps feeling sluggish though.
I really like the art in this game! It’s got a good consistent ‘notebook’ style and it works really well for visibility/readability in a platformer.
It would definitely have been nice to have some more gameplay, but it’s not that far off from being a full game. A really good effort for doing it all on your own!
Thank you
Very cute style-- I love the way everything looks. There's not much in the way of gameplay, but I'd honestly be cool with just running around a more varied arts-and-crafts world, exploring and taking in the vibes. Cute endscreen, as well. Though there isn't much game here, I'd honestly love to see more of this style.
In short, it's like a very good early sketch of a drawing-- you can see a lot of creativity and skill here, but the drawing itself has to be fleshed out a bit more before it can really shine.
Thank you for playing. I do want to work on this more but I'm kinda debating on learning 3D modeling just so that the arts and crafts theme shine brighter and not keep everything as a drawing.
So you just jump and move right.
Favorite parts: Nevertheless, it has a little bit of tenshion at the end <3 I played it three times, it was worth every second. And I love the drinking straw props.
Thanks for playing, I do want to make this a proper game at some point and I'm glad you enjoyed it
There are the building blocks, somewhat literally, here for a game. I found the visuals to be pretty charming. Hopefully the experience earned here will be built on in the future for something more fleshed out.
Thanks for playing, I do want to work on this a lot more at some point.
