I very very much appreciate for all reviews/rates/comments. It boosts me a lot of passion to make a better game.
I take it all and I promise will make a very better game than this on JAM: Game Off 2021
I have a big plan and dream for it!
Nice concept. I could not figure out what to do except for giving out candy and then pressing the next button.
I survived the first year! But I was too scared to unlock my door for any of the trick or cheaters. Also, I kept hitting the buzzer, which I assume electrocuted everyone, and then I died.
death is bad for you but candy is not?
nice work!
This is a really cool idea. I found it really unclear how to play it properly, though. I couldn't figure out how to tell which kids to give candy to and which kids to not. I couldn't tell what locking/unlocking the door did. The newspaper didn't really seem to help (or I couldn't tell what it was trying to convey). Some kids had dirty hands. Are they bad kids that shouldn't get candy? If the game conveyed its systems and explained what you should be looking out for better, it would be really neat.
The presentation is actually quite charming and the walk up/away animation of the character is a nice touch.
I wasn't able to really understand the tools at my disposal even though I tried toying with them a lot ...
Minor user experience note: I can spam click the "Next" button and skip through a bunch of trick-or-treaters without their character ever walking up to the door or away from it. Would be good if that button were disabled until the trick-or-treater officially stopped their approach animation to reach the front door.
Thank for your reviews, I so appreciate
This is my first JAM, i learn from it a lot include planning time
I like the art and stuff for this game! Got a lil confused, but I had fun :D
Thank a lot!
