I don鈥檛 own this jam but I imagine the person who does would say no, it kinda defeats the entire purpose of a game jam if you start early because a huge part of the jam is the time restriction. It would also probably be considered cheating because everyone else would be doing it in the time-frame. Good luck with your game though!
Thank you! I have tried joining a couple jams now but never quite done anything because of school work and doubts that my ideas will work, but let鈥檚 see will I finish in time
This jam is pretty long so if you try not to over-scope hopefully you will finish the game! I definitely have had my fair share of unfinished game jams
The organizers aren't going to police the time you spend. We recommend that you wait until the start, but if you want to start early... Probably just say that you did in your submission. uwu
