Hi!
It's a pretty nice game. The concept is pretty nice
It was a little tough for me in the beginning because i didn't know the enemies were hidden and kept dying. You could add a trigger to restart the level when the player falls, otherwise people would have to start from the beginning. I also could center the game at the players position instead of left or right because it made shooting difficult in the 4th level with all the diagonal going areas.
Overall, it was nice, you could polish it further and it would become a great game
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I wanted to add a bit more but I didnt manage my time wisely. I was focused on submitting in time as practice and everything was rushed. Glad you liked it though!
It wasn't clear that you had to charge up the gun for a few seconds before it would shoot.
You could add a charging animation or make it a pew pew gun with ammo instead.
But it's a neat idea to have monsters hidden like that :)
Thanks! I definitely was not clear on the objective and I will definitely try to improve on that.
After reading the instructions I played the game for around 10 minutes and was able to find some keys. But I was not able to finish the game. The objective wasn't super clear to me, but I still think the mechanic with hidden enemies is really interesting. Nice attempt and respect for creating this in such a short time!
Thanks! It took me a couple of breaks just to get the idea down and finish what I started to be honest. I agree I should definitely made the objective clearer somehow as well. Hope you had fun!
Hiya - cool idea, great choice of music too :) the jumping was a little buggy for me; I didn't always jump when I pressed space/W, but I think the principle was really cool to have all these invisible enemies that you have to discover
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I would of worked with the controls a bit more but sadly I was low on time and had to make do with what I had.
I died randomly when jumping, you can stick to walls, when you run against walls, the background is still scrolling, the background flickers weird and shooting doesn't work. (I use chrome on windows 64 bit). I also have no idea what to do, the room is closed and there are no keys in there.
I don't know how to rate this game, since it might be really good, but I couldn't play it...
I may not have made the objective and mechanics clear in the description, but everything should be working just fine. Also, the laser should be working if you click and hold it. Sadly, I have no way of testing it for chrome. Thanks for the feedback!
so I managed to shoot now. I also read the description again and I think I understand now. The controls are a bit chunky and robotic, but all in all not that bad as I thought.
Thats good to hear. At least you were able to play it.
