I spent WAYYYYY more time on this than i anticipated XD
well played, it's actually fairly soothing ! add some chill new age music on top and i'm sold ! XD
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
If I ever add a soundtrack it will definitely be something chill. I might just implements some nice sound effects on collision instead, we will see.
This is a really fun playground... it was fun trying to make the different colors clump in a certain way and watching it move organically!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I plan to add different kind of forces and maybe some kind of snapping behavior.
I'm also thinking about adding a GUI where the commands can be built. I don't want to scare non-programmers away. :D
Great little sandbox to play in! I hope you take it to the next level int he future and build out a game with it. Great stuff!
Thanks! I definitely have some ideas on what to add to it!
I really love the physics and sandbox of this. It was a lot more comfortable and satisfying to observe than I expected.
My only suggestion would be having some kind of satisfying sound when everything collides together, like a well-recorded sound of two marbles clicking together, or something like that? It would be very audibly pleasant each time you regen the whole thing to hear them colliding like that.
Very nice work and I hope you add a little extra to it later. It's awesome!
"a well-recorded sound of two marbles clicking together"
Thanks, that's a wonderful idea. That would really be a fitting sound effect. The other thing I considered is making the collisions sound different and see if they can generate some kind of harmony.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! It means a lot to me.
I instantly froze my browser for a couple of sec adding too much :D
Very pleasing aesthetic, and nice to play around!
I'm glad to hear you liked the aesthetic. I somehow managed to spend 1/4 of the development time on it.
Maybe I should add a limit to the number of particles you can create at once.
(maybe something that can be disabled, if you know what you are doing.)
