I didn't get the controls at all in the beginning, because I timed pressing 'W' exactly with the enemies turning around, so I thought I would die if I press 'W'. Figured it out eventually though. Got to level 5, but that slope on the final boulder was tricky. Music and art are really good :) very well done. I'd recommend an intro screen akin to this (https://stuffedwombat.itch.io/stok), so people will know the controls even if they don't go to the actual game page ;)

The gameplay was a bit confusing. I crouch behind rocks and trees, but I would still get caught somehow.

A very good concept on paper (especially with the feudal Japan aesthetic), but the execution could have used a bit of polish.

I absolutely LOVE your art and music though. If it was made clearer if you're safe or exposed, this could be incredible. I see a LOT of potential in this, but alas it's a shame the time limit is only 3 hours... Keep up the good work!!

(and don't apologize on your game page. be confident! believe in yourself!!)

Pretty nice... Hard, I was often confused when I got caught. How do they catch me? I did't see any shurikens or whatever. But eventually I managed to finish three levels :)

They see you as soon as they turn no matter how far away they were. I didnt have time to create individual cones of vision

Oh, okay... I guess the main problem was that I didn't know which direction they are facing, until I got used to it. Making it more clear would help. Good luck next time!

They face the direction that they move in
