Nice game, very fun to play!
Thanks!
Great random generation! Made the hunt challenging. First couple attempts at it I didn't want to kill non-target animals, but I also kept running into them and dying because I should not be allowed to drive. Then I just started blasting all of them!
Thanks! I wanted to test out random world map generation for a larger project I hope to use it in, so this was perfect for it.
Yeah, sometimes those other animals just get in the way. I've tried playing it as a pacifist and succeeded a handful of times. Another time I decided to blast all of them and try to save the target for last. That's when I realized that there can actually be more than one of the target animal, though you only have to kill one of them to achieve the goal (and it doesn't matter which one it is).
This was brilliant, very well put together from the graphics to the gameplay to the music. With just the right amount of animals that look almost like the one you're looking for.
Thank you for the kind words!
Love the aesthetic and gameplay. Only real criticism is the controls. If you're right-handed you've gotta click the location you're spawning into and then quickly move your hand to the arrow keys to move, and sometimes if an animal is right on top of you, you die because you can't get your hand over there fast enough.
Good call, and thanks for the feedback! I tried adding in an invulnerability period to compensate but I guess it's not long enough. I should probably enable WASD controls (post-jam, of course) and/or a landing countdown timer.
it was fun, but I could just spam space at XD (rated it well :))
Do you kill all the animals, or as few as possible? It's up to you. Here's my ultimate pacifist attempt:
I unfortunately went into overtime on this one. I got a little too ambitious with my randomly generated planets and animals, but I'm happy with the result.
