I like the idea of having the towers have different attack patterns!
After a few waves, the enemies were moving too fast for any of my towers to hit them, as they always seemed to shoot at where the enemy was instead of where there are going to be...

really cool idea but I think sometimes the bullets wouldn't kill the enemy. If you keep working on it it can be really fun. Good job.

Super cool game, I'd love a full version of this! It would be cool to see the different pieces maybe have different projectiles, and I agree that other enemy types would be dope besides just the speedup, but overall this is a very solid game/concept and super nice for 3 hours

Yeah different enemy types would be cool. The speed up also has the effect the bullets cant hit them at times.

Awesome idea! I love how the pieces' behavior and even prices reflect their abilities and value in actual chess. This meant I had to strategically place the pieces in a way no tower defense game I've played requires because of the unique nature of how each piece shoots. Also, great name.

Thank you!

Amazing idea, and I think it could be a really great tower-defense game,  but for now the main problem is that after some time all the pawns almost instantly die and just can't pass the amount of bullets fired.

Interesting use of chess rules, wish there was tougher enemies as those poor pawns soon didn't have a chance to enter the screen properly.

This could maybe be done with different colors of pawns to signal that their tougher.
